Color-Logic Certifies South African Dealer and Demo Center

West Chester, Ohio, USA; June 2023—Color-Logic has announced certification of Altron Document Solutions, the authorized Xerox distributor in South Africa and 26 sub-Saharan African countries. Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves, commenting on the appointment, said: "By naming Altron Document Solutions a Certified Color-Logic dealer, we are bringing consistent, reproducible metallic printing and embellishments to South Africa. Our partnership with Altron ensures that printers throughout South Africa can see first-hand the 924 Color-Logic metallic colors and many embellishments available with Xerox Dry Silver ink on conventional substrates or Xerox White Dry ink on metallic stocks."
The Altron Document Solutions certification included Color-Logic sample sheets printed on the Xerox Iridesse, using Xerox Silver Dry and CMYK inks. Discussing the expanded distribution, Mark Geeves, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing, said: “Color-Logic distribution channels are being expanded to include dealers who are reselling cut sheet digital presses made by our OEM partners. The Color-Logic strategy has always been to mirror the distribution channels of our OEM partners, and recently several OEM dealers expressed interest in working with us, primarily because they seek to provide a total print embellishment solution—from design to production—rather than simply selling a print engine. OEM dealers provide local support to their clients—not just for hardware but for software as well. The Color-Logic website now includes a map listing certified dealers where printers can buy Color-Logic products. Color-Logic dealers are certified by Color-Logic, understand how the Color-Logic tools work, and can demonstrate Color-Logic software in their facilities and at events or shows.”
